We have finally reached the end of the show. :(
As expected, the Black Widow spirit was defeated eventually but only because Zakuro managed to wake up from her “hypnotized” state. The others were not powerful enough to take her down. DaiDai did not make it though and was killed by the Black Widow.
It was a happy ending but somewhat dissatisfying I thought. We do know that Zakuro and Agemaki KISSED but their relationship was still not 100% set in stone. Oh and Byakuroku and Omodaka did not die in the end and became a better person. I feel like there might be a season 2?? I wouldn’t mind!!

Loved this series and liked the final episode of “Otome Youkai Zakuro”, after episode 12 was a bit concerned how they would handle the finale but was pleasantly surprised they were able to wrap it up nicely and satisfactory like this.
Had a friend who found the Spirit Affairs sudden close and re-instating a bit sudden but I feel that for such a shoujo show it was not an unexpected last element of suspense just to keep the audience glued to the screen.
All the pairings were pretty much set in stone too though imho, Agemaki and Zakuro each confessed but they’re just being their usual selves about it. XD
Apparently the manga is still ongoing, so a season 2? Could be!
