There must be…there must be…a SEASON TWO!!! I demand it!!! AAaaaaah!! They might as well kill us with that kind of ending!! But then I guess it COULD have been worst!!! *SHUTS EYES!! Don’t want to think what other crazy ideas they could have come up with!!*
This episode was overall a very serious one with a heavy emphasis on the emotions expressed by Maria towards Canaan.
I’m sorry, Canaan. I won’t be able to shine upon you…
I’m sorry. But I don’t want to be protected. I just want to be able to walk alongside you.
No matter where Canaan goes, she won’t walk alongside me.
Canaan on the otherhand…
She’s not dead. I know that.
When I first Maria, she was the only one shining in that gray and dull city.
No matter where I go, I can feel your kindness.
Though there is no question of the bond between Canaan and Maria but they do not end up together as the world in which they live in are too different.
To me this was a MARIA and CANAAN EPISODE!! Well Alphard got a fair chunk of screen time too but…MEH!! Moving on!! hahaha
Maria reminisces the old times of Canaan and her. Since the incidents in the last episode, Canaan is somewhat lost – “why is everyone blaming me?” Maria senses this and stays by her side. Their presence for one another is like their life support. Oh and they hold hands too!! ^_^
To be honest, I’m not quite sure where the story is heading. It lost me a few episodes back! Anyway, the three girls take the train to leave the place but while on the train, some commotion occurs.
Canaan senses something and runs off leaving Maria to Ynn Yun’s “care”. LOL That girl helps loosen up the tension in this episode at times but it’s otherwise a fairly intense 25 minutes!! While she’s protecting Maria in “side-shift-crab” style, Alphard turns up! I must admit that Alphard does look pretty damn cool. Anyone for a set of Alphard’s abs!?! ahahaha *raises hand* I’ll have one!! ahahaha
To be honest, don’t ask me about the storyline in Canaan…I’ve lost track since like 2 episodes ago!! But I’m hardly going to write about this one! It was just SOOOOO >_<!!!
First there is the seriously deranged Liang Qi!! CRAZY CRAZY CRAAAAAAZY WOMAN!!! Then there was Hakko and Santana… Aaaaaah!!!! What the..!?!?! >_<
There is only ONE part worth mentioning…
At the end of the episode, as Canaan leaves the facility, the emotions are heavy and Maria can sense this. It was just two words, but they alone and the expressions in their eyes spoke volumes about the bond between them. I think this is one of my favourite Canaan x Maria scenes! Pity it’s in episode 11!! >_<

Again!! I am SUPER SLOW!! Why can’t we have 48 hour days?! Or better still!? Why can’t there be a 2nd me that can stay at work 24 x 7!?! Aaaaaah!! I’m going to have to dash through my posts on episodes 10, 11 AND 12!! >_<
Episode 10 was a pretty depressing episode. The crazy and sadistic Liang Qi is INSANE! She executes a plan which results in Hakko killing her lover by accident. It was quite a sad moment as Santana begged her to tell him that she loved him. She killed him as she whispered those words…I love you.
