I’ve been reading the Marimite light novels again!! Generally this isn’t an issue but when I have an exam around the corner then it’s not really a good idea!!! Haha
Anyway, I was reading this part in vol. 10 where Yoshino is demanding to join the kendo club, against Rei’s wishes. I couldn’t help but smile in the scene where they reconcile in the kendo grounds while it’s raining outside!! ^_____^
Yep! This will be my next focus. The reason why it’s worth translating is because in the anime, we do not see the thoughts running through Yoshino’s mind. We’re missing out BIG time!!! Haha It won’t be a long piece though!

OMG!?! How many times have I said this in the last few days?!! OH WELL…the things I have been going on about are definitely “OMG” materials!??! And here’s another?! mintyfresh over at Animesuki forum pointed this out!! So has Oyuki Konno decided to keep writing!?!?! I hope so!! Can anyone out there give us a hand?? Who knows how to read Japanese!!!? From what I can gather, it sounds like it’s starting off in April, when Yumi, Yoshino and Shimako will start their 3rd year at Lilian’s. I’m going to try and hunt down a picture of the book cover – hopefully that will give us some clues?!
I need to know!!!! Does it mean a season 5 could be POSSIBLE!?!!?
Here’s the final part!! I have to say that I’m sorry for choosing these two chapters. This section is definitely not as good as the previous Sei x Yumi translation. Oh well. I will choose a better part next time. =( In any case, I hope this translation added some insight into the Rosa Gigantea family!! *hopeful*
“Shimako is really too impatient.”
Noriko mumbles under her breath as she brushes away the water on Shimako’s face. As the tears and rain crosses path on my face, I wonder what it looked like in Noriko’s eyes.
“Rosa Chinesis was only raising an extreme example. If you don’t want to let go, there is no need to force yourself to give up on either, right?”
“But…”
Shimako tightened her two hands and drew a cross in front of her chest. If she could not give up on either, is it still possible for there to be a perfect solution?
“I know of one solution.”
Under that neat fringe was a set of determined eyes, staring straight at Shimako.
“Let me wear your rosary.”
“Eh?!”
Noriko’s index finger pointed to Shimako’s right wrist. At the tip of the finger was the special gift she had received from her onee-sama.
Sorry for the delay!! Here’s part 2! I’ve had to split the 2nd chapter into 2 parts as I haven’t finished the ending. Bear with me. The final part (part 3) will be available by the weekend!! I promise!!
Rain drops gently slipped through the sakura tree leaves and fell onto the hair.
“What do I need to do?”
The water in the hair slided across the skin and onto the face, merging together with Shimako’s tears. Though the sakura tree was tall and stretched broadly with its thick branches, the sparse leaves could not help but let the rain pass through.
“If it really started to rain heavily, you will catch a cold.”
The sound of steps treading onto the wet soil gradually moved closer. From the moment Shimako decided to hide at this place, she was probably waiting for this particular person to come.
“I figured out one thing this morning. Shimako is a greedy person, therefore she does not want to be disliked by anyone.”
Noriko was next to Shimako, crouching along with her. Some of the soil below the sakura trees were still dry. Drops of rain passed through the branches and was creating a pattern of dots in the soil.
“That’s right.”
The two did not look at each other but just looked at the rain in front of them together. Although the rain was still passing through the sparse leaves above, it was still better than standing without the coverage of the tree. At least that’s what it seemed, comparing the strength of the rain within and outside the canopy of the tree. Very quickly, Noriko’s premonition of the ‘heavy rain’ looked like it had arrived.
The first part (actually a chapter) has been translated!! Bear with me cos my concentration again was disappearing fast near the end. If there are any blatant errors, please let me know and I’ll have it corrected!! ENJOY!!
Shimako stood by the windows on the 2nd floor of the Rose Mansion looking at the sky.
It’s already Friday but Shimako’s feelings had not turned better. The depression within grew darker and heavier, like the stormy clouds before the rain.
If those clouds were swept away, would a blue sky like Virgin Mary’s heart really exist? The sun should still be high up in the sky yet it was like dusk in the evening. It looked like it was about to rain.
“Shimako.”
Noriko, as if disapproving of Shimako’s silent sighing, called her name from behind. Because both Rei-sama and Yoshino-san cannot attend after school today, Noriko has been asked to help.
The preparations for the school festival have started.
Although it is possible to setup a committee, the Yamayurikai still has quite a scope of responsibilities. At the moment, although the focus is just on printing, collating the questionnaire as such; hereafter, workload will definitely increase, so the more people helping the better.
“What is the matter?”
Shimako casually turned around and asked Noriko.
“The tea is ready…”
“It is? Thanks.”
