hashihime has done ANOTHER amazing summary of what’s to come this season!! Well first of all – the below are on the top of MY “to-watch” list!!! ^_______^ Oh and just to give you a heads up, if it’s got ANY signs of yuri or has one of my favourite seiyuus, I’m basically there!!! hahaha
Do I need to say MORE?!?! HEHEHEHE But there are THREE surprises!!! At least for me!! Are you ready??
- One of the supporting seiyuus will be Mamiko Noto!!!! YAY!!!!
- One of them will be Aki Toyosaki!! Who’s that?! It’s YUI from K-ON!!! She will be voicing Miwa Mogi…hmm…who’s that!? OMG! Just realised!! “Yui” & “Mugi” (Minako Kotobuki) are BOTH in a lot of the new anime!!! ^____^ More later!!
- The music will also be done handled by Haketa Takefumi who was in charge of Vampire Knight’s OST!!! Now THAT’s something to look forward too!!

Highschoolers + magic + adventure + Hitomi Nabatame + Minako Kotobuki (Mugi from K-ON!) –> *SQUEALS* hahahaha
Honestly, I don’t know whether it’s going to be THAT amazing but a young freshman becomes the student of a 25 year old graduate student who is one of the most powerful magicians around!!

This is one anime clearly marked as a YURI moe comedy. *BEAM*
But I have to say, I’m not a big fan of the character designs…hmm…but not to worry – if there’s yuri, then I’m there!! Plus, how can I give it a miss with Yui Horie, Rie Kugimiya AND Aki Toyosaki!!
Oh and did I mention it’s not school based?! haha The main character, Kana, is a middle-school girl orphan who works at a newspaper delivery office which so conveniently is run by…GIRLS. hehe

Another high school setting one – a bunch of girls plays baseball? hahaha Whatever!!

GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class
This is a slice of life school comedy focusing on…yep you guessed it…FIVE girls in high school!!! haha But wait! There is a twist!! It’s not any ordinary school! They will be attending art class!! haha I know nothing more and have no clue whether there is any yuri but given what I missed out with K-ON!, I’m definitely keeping my eye on this one!! Character design doesn’t look as nice though. There’s also Yui Horie!! One of my favourite seiyuu!! We’ll find out more on 6 July…
I haven’t watched season 1 but I’ve been eyeing on this one. Ami Koshimizu and Paku Romi!!? Sounds good already! No yuri for sure here…9 July. Now need to hunt down Season 1…

I’m looking forward to Umineko no Naku Koro ni. ^^ It probably won’t have yuri, but it looks like it will be another really good horror-mystery from the creators of Higurashi. Umi Monogatari looks like it could have some yuri; plus, it has Yui Horie voicing Urin, one of the main characters. Yui Horie really seems to be getting a ton of voice acting work this summer. And thanks for pointing out Kanamemo! ^_^ I’m not usually into moe, but I want to check it out now.

“ume monogatari ~ anata ga ite kureta koto” supernatural/sci-fi promising story.

After reading this, I’m really excited for Taishou Yakyuu Musume. Yay for girl sports animes! It’s like a modern Princess 9 with Kana Ueda!! Yay! GA also looks interesting (I’m basing that on the image and that it’s about an art class). Oh, and Kanamemo kinda goes without saying.

seriously, umineko sounds like agatha christie’s ‘and then there was none’ … but 2-3 shojou ai anime? thats a lot! yey! the art class show, kinda reminds me of hidamari sketch (which i like). will deifnitely be following all the shojou ai/yuri shows and perhaps umineko, GA and canaan.

Lol, I can see from the pics alone that it’s girls, girls, and more girls, with the exception of Lawrence.
I’m looking forward to Canaan (Type-Moon!), Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (BONES!), Umineko no Naku Koro ni (mystery!), Spice and Wolf 2 (sequel!), Bakemonogatari (friend recommendation), and of cuz Aoi Hana (yuri!)! OVA-wise, I watch Hellsing, Dogs: Bullets and Carnage, Utawarerumono and Nodame Cantabile.
That being said, I usually try to end up watching all the series in each season.

And oh! I left out Mahou Sensei Negima! – Another World. I watch it for the 1% of KonoSetsu that it contains, and ignore the other 99% of filler crap.

oh i saw the spice n wolf season 2 OVA thingy.. actually i have whole of season 1 but i didnt have time to watch it(together with LOADS n LOADS of other unwatched animes in my 1000GB external bookdrive) but im gonna start soon since season 2 is on its way…

@Katherine: THanks for pointing out Umineko no Naku Koro ni! After a closer look, I’ve changed my mind!! Ok so the story doesn’t sound THAT unique but PWOAH! That seiyuu cast is something!! Yui Horie + Rie Kugimiya + Ami Koshimizu and…Miki Itou!!!!! Miki is Sachiko from Marimite!!!! WOAH! I don’t think I’ve seen her in anything else!!! *Nods* Definitely watching this one!

Well, after several years of anime-watching, I can say I know how to pace myself out for each season. Should be fine. I did survive all these while. =)
And I love to find those under-appreciated shows that people overlook for all the over-rated ones. So that usually means a lot of watching. XD

Actually I’m happy to have Aoi Hana first then followed by Sasameki Koto later. Can you imagine if we had them both then had like a yuri drought for a few months?!!? I’d DIE!!!! hahaha
